"Pomade" — a poetic premiere that touched hearts. Today, an extremely sensual and profound event took place at the Center for Modern Reading "Marko" — a poetic presentation of the debut collection "Pomade" by the young author Kristina Kovalenko.
On May 24, the cycle of book and culinary Saturdays "For All Tastes!" has ended, becoming a true celebration of culture, traditions, and national cuisine. The fourth meeting combined the flavor of Georgia and the sophistication of Korean culture.
Pani Iryna Martynenko moved the audience with her own poems. And songs set to her poetry and music were performed by Honored Artist of Ukraine Oleksandr Sychov.
The participants gathered not only to talk about fakes and manipulations, but also to learn how to actually recognize them. And it turned out great! The event was held with the support of the Mykolaiv Youth Council, the NGO "Society Foundation" and MIL House.
Pani Iryna presented the audience with unique embroidered paintings created according to her own author's schemes. She prefers landscapes, but a separate, deeply personal part of the exhibition is made up of embroidered icons, full of spiritual beauty and warmth.
As part of the intercultural project "Mykolaiv. We are different. We are together!", dedicated to the Day of Interethnic Harmony and Cultural Diversityon, a country history quest "Cultural Codes of Nations" took place on May 22 at the Marko Kropyvnytskyi Central City Library.
On May 21, a truly creative atmosphere reigned in the Central City Library named after M. L. Kropyvnytskyi. Together with the Cultural and Artistic Association “Art-Spokusa”, we held an unusual master class “Whisper of the Sea”, which became a real art event for our visitors.
This year, on May 21, Ukraine marks the Day of International Unity and Cultural Diversity for the first time. Our library is actively involved in the city intercultural project “Mykolaiv. We are different. We are together!”, organized for this event by the Department of Culture and Cultural Heritage Protection of the Mykolaiv City Council.
On May 20, the grand opening of the personal exhibition “Pearls of the Southern Region” by the talented Mykolaiv artist, member of the Cultural and Artistic Association “Spokusa” Svitlana Boikova-Kaliuzhna took place in the library-branch No. 12 of the Central Library named after M. L. Kropyvnytskyi.
