Someone paints pictures with oil, someone likes watercolor and acrylic. But it turns out that real masterpieces are born thanks to plasticine. Falling in love with this plastic material, you can stop the moments and the favorite season of many of us - summer, which has already ended but keeps warm days for us.

"The memories about summer, its colorfulness and fowers are still fresh. That's why we decided to create today small paintings, decorative panels using air plasticine. In the technique of plasticine painting. I think why we chose this particular form of art today is because it's not just pictures. It is on the horizontal plane that we depict fine plastic, we develop motility and create three-dimensional paintings," emphasizes Valentyna Kryvtsova, head of the Cultural and Artistic Association "Art-Spokusa".

Plasticine art therapy is practiced by Vira Zhevner, a talented craftswoman and trainer of permanent library master classes. She discovered the miraculous raw material for herself after being in a hospital bed. Boundless love for art and self-confidence helped pani Vira not to give up and win the duel with the disease.

"And this wonderful air plasticine came to my aid. Or children still call it light plasticine or a bouncing ball. Because when it hardens, you can play with it like a ball. And thanks to this plasticine, I started working with my fingers and hands. I couidn't even talk. Then speech came back, I began to work with my fingers. I started to get up and walk today also thanks to the doctors and the rehabilitation center. But when I was at home waiting in line for three months to go to the hospital, I worked with plasticine," recalls craftswoman Vira Zhevner.

Working with plasticine helps to relieve excess tension and reactivate muscles. Psychologists use this plastic material in art therapy.

A large number of shades of modern plasticine allows you to work with human feelings and emotions.

So, do plasticine therapy as much as possible. Let your hands begin to sculpt themselves. And let the creative activity take as much time as you need. In the end, each of you will feel when you get what you need!
