How many different types of needlework are there today simply cannot be counted. Regular visitors of library master classes, readers of the Central City Library named after M.L. Kropyvnytskyi always have the opportunity to try to learn something new thanks to the Cultural and Artistic Association "Art-spokusa" and its head Valentyna Kryvtsova.

This time they immersed themselves in the world of isothreading or chordal embroidery. This type of art includes a lot of theoretical and humanitarian disciplines at the same time. It develops logical thinking and imagination, strong-willed qualities of craftswomen, contributes to the expansion of creative abilities and aesthetic taste.

In the modern world, cord embroidery has turned into a very pleasant hobby. It is used for decorating interiors, making gifts, souvenirs and holiday cards.

As a symbol, women chose one of the most popular patterns - the motif of sunflowers. After all, it is a symbol of the sun, a source of energy and life.
And the image of a sunflower is an excellent choice for connoisseurs of national heritage and a sense of belonging to the Ukrainian people.

Zinaida Mazur, a regular reader of the library and a visitor of library master classes, acted as a master trainer today.
