Dreams are a mysterious thing. In ancient times, people considered them the voice of spiritual forces. Often they are full of fairy tales and signs. On the sixteenth of October, the Cultural and Artistic Association "Art-Spokusa" and the Central City Library named after M.L. Kropyvnytskyi invited the people of Mykolaiv to travel through the starry sky - from night to morning, into the world of fantasy paintings by the artist Oksana Davydova. Her personal exhibition "Starry Dreams" opened here.

"Such a creative new name of Mykolaiv artist Oksana Davydova was discovered precisely in this library. After all, the very first personal exhibition took place three months ago in this hall. And today we are already taking a different angle. Today, we talk about Oksana Davydova as a graphic artist," emphasizes Valentyna Kryvtsova, head of the Cultural and Artistic Association "Art-Spokusa".

The presented exhibition consists of 15 works - a creative mix of modern fantasy and color graphics based on the traditional "Tavria" painting.

"I recently started doing Tavria painting. I was very inspired by it. This is our Mykolaiv pearl. Therefore, I also wanted to include it in the exhibition. Regarding icon painting, I don't know. I did not have such a direct idea that it would be an icon painting. I just wanted to show such relaxed female faces. That they simply inspire peace, beauty. For something so positive," Oksana Davydova shares her emotions.

The Mykolaiv artist has another exhibition planned. It will also be held in the Central City Library named after M.L. Kropyvnytskyi. Pani Oksana prepares unusual portraits of animals from the Mykolaiv Zoo for admirers of her talent as a photographer.

Oksana Davydova's second personal exhibition was accompanied by the musical accompaniment of Andrii Kryvoruchko, a talented and charismatic friend of the library team, director of the Children's Music School No. 8 in Mykolaiv.
