Central city library named after M.L. Kropyvnytskyi is not only a place where books are stored in complete silence and where readers address each other and librarians in whispers. We really bust these myths.
Here, visitors and readers of the modern cultural institution can communicate with friends, play board games and learn about novelties, get acquainted with the work of artists and photographers, watch performances presented by librarians, and become participants of our jam sessions and other various activities for children and adults.
Our guests were able to see all this today. Representatives of the NGO "April 10" invited them to the library tour, as one of Mykolaiv's youth spaces. The participants were public organizations, partners and initiative groups.
A meaningful meeting for active youth was prepared by the head of the User Service Department of the Central City Library named after M.L. Kropyvnytskyi Hanna Serhienko, head librarian of the Center for Modern Reading "MARKO" of the Central City Library named after M.L. Kropyvnytskyi Oleksandra Romashova and the head librarian of the Subscription for Adults of the Central City Library named after M.L. Kropyvnytskyi Olena Gavrylova.
