"I wanted to give them these floral, beautiful, bright works. So that people enjoy it", - the exhibition by Nadia Yashchenko "Rainbow of Hope" opened in the Central City Library named after M.L. Kropyvnytskyi.
"Rainbow of Hope" - this is the name of the third art exhibition by Nadia Yashchenko, which opened after a long artistic break of the author in the Central City Library named after M.L. Kropyvnytskyi.
Thirty-three new works of the artist are presented at the exhibition. They were created by the artist in the last few years. The most prominent place in the exposition is occupied by floral still lifes. Peonies are painted with special tenderness by the author, delicate petals of irises are drawn, lovers of living nature are captivated by the bright riot of red roses and tulips.
"You see a lot of people who respect and know me. And I wanted to give them these floral, beautiful, bright works. To make people happy. They did not think about what is happening around us now. Such is life. But we will survive it all. We will be fine. I hope I will bring them great pleasure", - pani Nadia shares her emotions.
In addition, Nadia Yashchenko is attracted to landscapes. She focuses on the sea spaces of Bulgaria and Montenegro. The family stayed there for some time. The winter forest in her paintings is connected with the author's childhood memories.
"But this is a riot of colors. It is so feminine. Naive. And it's naiv. Such folk. But it is so cute. Dear to one's heart. I'll say that I'm just happy for her," says Tetiana Danylenko, a longtime acquaintance of the family, Mykolaiv journalist.
Nadia Yashchenko has no professional art education. Therefore, all works are written with soul and heart. Such frankness and sincerity just attracts connoisseurs of her art. Mykolaiv artist Leonid Yashchenko is madly in love with his Nadia and supports his wife in every possible way, prompts and corrects certain points if necessary.
"And when she started doing work, of course, I gave her a hint. Some ways out of dead ends that are being created. By composition, light, color. Sometimes I make her write down some work. Because it doesn't work. There is no way out. And then we find a way together. Sometimes it works out," says the artist from Mykolaiv.
We are like Japanese samurai, says Leonid Yashchenko. It is not the result that is important to us, but the way. Joint creative activity brings unlimited pleasure to Nadia and Leonid Yashchenko. The greatest happiness for them is to share art with the audience without any pretense. Money, titles and fame are secondary, emphasizes Leonid Hryhorovych, smiling during the conversation. The main thing is creativity.
