Spring is a time for discovering one's own inner potential, creativity, and development. Ukrainian traditions, namely the art of "Vytynanka", are rapidly winning the hearts of adults and children.
So, let's revive our culture, honor traditions, and learn to create beauty with our own hands.
And if you are looking for an exciting activity for the whole family that will help improve concentration and develop fine motor skills, try your hand at making a spring vytynanka.
As nature awakens with the onset of spring warmth, so lovely floral and plant compositions were born among regular visitors of library master classes. The women were helped to make vytynanky with a huge number of carved details by a talented craftswoman from the Cultural and Artistic Association "Art-Spokusa" Hanna Petryk. She has been engaged in this type of art for seven years.
"Why vytynanka? Because vytynanka is the development of motor skills, thinking...", says the craftswoman.
The first snowdrops, tulips and daffodils appeared on the paper. The play of colors, the flight of imagination and boundless inspiration multiplied by the support of Hanna Petryk gave their tangible results. Each participant of the master class managed to make two panels.
