The spring awakening of nature was celebrated by readers of the Central City Library named after M.L. Kropyvnytskyi by participating in a master class on making a brooch from foamiran. The material is relatively new, but it has already found both a wide range of applications and the love and affection of the fair sex.
"It's soft, like rubber, which is difficult to work with. But we're learning. We make the brooch from scratch. We start cutting out the petals and leaves, and we assemble this brooch into a single whole. And we make the flower unusual. It's called "Frost", says Vira Zhevner, a craftswoman at the Cultural and Artistic Association "Art-Spokusa".
This flower will be a great alternative to a live plant. The material, which came to us from the East, will preserve the festive look of the decoration for many years. After all, women, among others, put skill and a piece of their soul into the handmade decor.
