This is a joint project of the Central City Library named after M.L. Kropyvnytskyi and the Mykolaiv City Council of National Societies. This time, the beautiful Saturday was dedicated to the wealth of recipes and dishes, rituals, customs and cultural traditions of the Roma and Bulgarians of the Mykolaiv region.
The people of Mykolaiv learned about the national costumes, incendiary music and dances of the Roma from Viktoriia Chorna, the head of the Mykolaiv regional society "Romani Bakht". She treated the guests to a dish with a filling of nuts, meat, and cheese in the form of a rose called Chantal. The fire of passion on the improvised dance floor was lit by the participants of the folk ensemble of Roma song and dance "Bakhtale".
In turn, representatives of the Ternivka Bulgarian Society named after I. Vazov, teachers of the Bulgarian language in the Sunday school Tetiana Varvianska and Kira Iano, told the participants about the history of Bulgaria, its holidays and rituals, the features of the national cuisine, and the pepper festival in Ternivka.
Everyone had the opportunity to taste delicious Bulgarian banitsa and pumpkin pie.

We remind you that the festival of national cuisine, fairy tales and legends is a component of the intercultural festival "Mykolaiv. We are different. We are together!". The Central City Library named after M.L. Kropyvnytskyi will join the events within its framework throughout May.
The cycle of book and culinary Saturdays "For all tastes!" is held in partnership with the Department of Education and Science of the Mykolaiv RMA and the publisher Iryna Hudym. There are two locations here: for adults and for children.
