On the occasion of World Telecommunications and Information Society Day, a system-wide campaign "Familiar-Unfamiliar Google: New Possibilities of Services and Applications" was held.
The participants of the campaign were active users of our libraries and Digital Education Hubs of all ages - from inquisitive youth to wise representatives of the older generation.
The purpose of the event was to remind about the limitless possibilities of the modern Internet and its important role in our lives – from learning and work to solving everyday tasks. Using the example of Google, which is familiar to everyone, the participants discovered new facets of its services and applications, demonstrating their usefulness and practical implementation. A lively discussion was sparked by information about the evolution of artificial intelligence (AI) technologies in Google products, which is already changing our world today.
During the campaign, various educational events were held in libraries and hubs:
- interactive trainings;
- practical master classes;
- information hours;
- useful lessons-consultations;
- visual slide talks;
- thematic information dossiers, etc.
