Benjamin Cherry is a 79-year-old Scotsman, journalist, public figure, and author of the The New View periodical.
He is also known for his active position and many years of experience in the field of developing civic consciousness in the countries of the Asia-Pacific region.
At the meeting, he shared unique memories of working in Vietnam during the war in the 1970s, spoke about his activities in the field of alternative education, and presented an autobiographical book.
After the meeting, Benjamin made a special gift — he gave the library a copy of his book, which will now become part of its collection.
Yurii Lukovenko, a trainer, consultant, specialist in the individual development of children and adults, and a participant in international projects between Ukraine and Europe, also joined the conversation.
It was a sincere, meaningful conversation about experiences, challenges, values, and inner freedom.
Thank you to everyone who joined!
The meeting was part of the events celebrating the 125th anniversary of the Central City Library named after M. L. Kropyvnytskyi.
