On August 21, we celebrate the birthday of Dmytro Kremin (1953–2019) — a famous Mykolaiv resident, Honored Artist of Ukraine, laureate of the Taras Shevchenko National Prize of Ukraine, poet, publicist, teacher, and translator.

To honor the memory of Dmytro Dmytrovych, relatives and friends, as well as library readers, gathered in the Literary Square of the Central City Library named after M.L. Kropyvnytskyi. Among those present was the poet's wife, pani Olha.

Participants of the event read poems, shared warm memories, looked at photos and talked about the significance of his words today.

Memory lives. Words are immortal.
