The event was led by Olena Doskalenko, a leading librarian of the reading room of the Central City Library named after M. L. Kropyvnytskyi.

The fifth-graders listened with fascination to the stories about the life and customs of the Ukrainian Cossacks, their bravery, and love for their native land. They also learned many unexpected facts.

The interactive tasks were especially lively: the schoolchildren solved Cossack riddles, worked in teams, and felt a real team spirit—the same kind that prevailed in the Cossack army.

"It was very interesting! We want more meetings like this!" the pupils shared their impressions.
