The meeting was moderated by Liudmyla Vovchuk, Candidate of Historical Sciences and Associate Professor of the Department of International Relations. Yurii Kotliar, Doctor of Historical Sciences and First Vice-Rector of Petro Mohyla Black Sea National University, also took part in the discussion.
During the presentation, Pavlo Hai-Nyzhnyk — historian, political scientist, Doctor of Historical Sciences — elaborated on his work "Semantic Ideologemes of V. Putin: Narratives of Value Manipulations and Casus Belli of Russian Geopolitics and Geostrategy", in which he examines the propaganda mechanisms and the logic of Russia's aggressive policy.
Oleksandr Savchenko — economist, financier, diplomat, Doctor of Economic Sciences — presented the first volume of the political thriller "Escalation. Battle of Presidents", where fiction intertwines with real events.
During the discussion, the authors answered a number of philosophical questions:
— What is the place of history in information warfare;
— What was their main goal when working on the books;
— What prompted them to write the books.
Attendees actively joined the dialogue, asked questions, and discussed current topics of the day.
