This is not just a collection of interviews, but a living chronicle of the modern history of Mykolaiv—a city that stood firm during the most difficult times thanks to people with unbreakable spirit, dignity, and faith.

The book tells of days that pained and simultaneously tempered us, about ordinary Mykolaiv residents whose daily courage became true heroism. It is about a city that did not surrender and taught others not to give up. This is more than just pages of text—it is a responsibility to the city, respect for its journey, and faith in its tomorrow. It is extremely important to preserve this memory for future generations.

During the presentation, in a warm and solemn atmosphere, another pleasant event took place. Pan Artem Kryvtsov, head of the NGO "Youth Center for Scientific Activity," received the honorary award "Ambassador of Culture of the City of Mykolaiv." The badge and official certificate were presented for his active support of city cultural and artistic projects for youth.

The author of the book heard many sincere words of support and warm wishes from the city's residents—the very "unbreakable" ones who bring Ukraine's victory closer every day.

We sincerely thank Pani Iryna Hudym for her assistance in publishing the book, her support of authors, and her significant contribution to the development and preservation of the printed word in our city.

This post also features photographs by Serhii Kononenko.

The book has already been released and will undoubtedly have a long and worthy life, remaining a symbolic monument to the unbreakable residents of our heroic Mykolaiv.
