The "Art-Spokusa" Cultural and Artistic Association invited handmade artisan Vira Zhevner to be the trainer—a person who knows not only how to create beauty but also how to radiate light and warmth to everyone around her.
To create the brooch, participants needed fur and felt—it was from these materials that the funny little hedgehogs were born. First, the ladies cut out the details using templates, sewed them together, and filled them with hollowfiber to give the accessories volume. Next, they sewed on ears and paws, while the nose and eyes were created using beads.
The final touch was attaching the clasp and decorating the brooches with decorative flowers, butterflies, rhinestones, hearts, berries, and tiny mushrooms.
The finished fur hedgehogs immediately adorned sweaters, bags, scarves, and jackets. Such brooches not only add a unique flair to an outfit but also look particularly harmonious during the winter season.
