Talented handmade craftswoman Vira Zhevner, invited by the Cultural and Artistic Association "Art-Spokusa," revealed the secrets of creating exquisite flowers from satin ribbons to the participants.
At first glance, just ordinary ribbons, felt, threads, a needle, a glue gun… But in the hands of the artisan and the participants, they transformed into true works of art.
To bring a single flower to life, about 50–60 petals had to be prepared: each neatly cut, burned with a lighter, shaped for volume, and then step by step assembled into a lush bud. It was true delicate work that required attentiveness, patience, and creative inspiration.
Each participant created her own unique brooch. Some chose delicate monochrome compositions, while others boldly combined colors, giving birth to roses, peonies, chrysanthemums, and dahlias — all different, yet equally beautiful.
The finished accessories will serve as a stylish accent for any look: they can adorn a hat, a bag, a blouse, or a scarf. Most importantly, each brooch will keep the warmth of its maker's hands and pleasant memories of a creative day at the library.
