Today, theatre is much more than performances and applause. It is a space for communication, searching for new meanings, co-creation, and bringing people together.

This was precisely the focus of a creative meeting at the Marko Kropyvnytskyi Central Library of Mykolaiv with Artem Svystun, Honored Artist of Ukraine, General and Artistic Director of the Mykolaiv Academic Art Drama Theatre.

The main event of the evening was the presentation of the book "Multifunctionality of the Art Drama Theatre of Ukraine: Reflections. Impressions. Comments", dedicated to the work of the Mykolaiv Academic Art Drama Theatre from 2017 to 2026. The publication was previously presented to the general public in June this year, drawing significant interest from the cultural community.

The book serves as a chronicle of a ten-year period in the theatre's development. In it, the author analyzes the transformation of the modern theatrical space, sharing his own thoughts, impressions, and experience. Special attention is given to implementing the concept of theatre multifunctionality, which involves creating new formats of interaction with audiences, developing artistic projects, and shaping an open cultural environment.

The meeting was moderated by Inga Savitskaya, Director of the Marko Kropyvnytskyi Central Library, who guided the discussion by raising topical issues regarding the development of theatrical art, the role of culture in society, and the importance of arts institutions in times of modern challenges.

A sincere conversation, engaging facts, professional experience, and an open dialogue made the meeting a true platform for exchanging ideas and creative interaction.

We thank Artem Svystun for a meaningful presentation and the opportunity to once again see that theatre remains a powerful force capable of uniting people and inspiring change.
