Drawing with plasticine combines a three-dimensional image and a flat painting.
"For me, plasticine is new opportunities, new textures, a new format of work. Children work with the volume. In addition, motor skills for them. Works presented at the exhibition are made by children aged 5 to 10 years. This is exactly the time when you need to practice motor skills.
Development of the hand. You can see how they put a lot of time into their work. It's very cool," says Vladyslav Solopienko, a teacher at the Mykolaiv Children's Art School.
Vladyslav Solopienko is a clothing designer. However, he is very satisfied with the sudden change in his life path. He finds inspiration in working with children. What is naturally he pushes young artists, his pupils to creativity. This is already their second exhibition in the library after half a year of study.
"Scientists say that if a child is engaged in sculpting, works something with his fingers, then he develops his brain. Intelligence. Therefore, children in these wartimes for some reason like to work with plasticine. And we generally like it. Now there is a large selection of this material in stores. That's why it's very good for us, and the children like it," emphasizes Yevhenia Kruchynina, director of the Mykolaiv Art School.
